Is this arrogance...

It's like
I went to sing
and my lungs gave out
like dancing with two left feet
like kissing satin lips
when nobodies there
and is it arrogance to want to be loved?
am i suppose to want to be alone?
Try and impress
it turns out a mess
Try and find closure
when it's already over
and where to begin
i just don't know
like diving into concrete
like being fearless
yet wallowing in fear
like the galaxy without stars
and how to feel?
without a heart or soul
why is that i
have to pay the toll?
