I open my eyes
And seek my chance
My chance at justice
My chance in life

I open my eyes
And seek my heart
My chance at happiness
My chance at love

I open my eyes
And seek a refuge
My escape from horror
My flee from torture

I open my eyes
And seek nothing
Because nothing is there
Nothing will ever be there

I opened my eyes
And seek the world for what it truly is
It is hideous
It is real

I close my eyes
And I see everything.

My brother is an incredible artist, and i got super jealous at one time, and wanted the attention he was getting. so i tried art, and lemme tell ya..IT WAS HORRIBLE. then i realized that he couldnt beat be at writing so i jumped onto my computer. i am seriously horrible at poems, but i just wanted to try it, so i did, and this is what i got!! hope u enjoy!
