Favorite Quote:
"Don't cry that it's over, smile because it has happened."

I watch the sun disappear
Before my eyes.
Fading,
away from here.
Momentarily dying,
I search for a disguise.

Nothing appears.
I can’t discover
Anything to hide my identity.
Nothing but me,
Nothing but this middle finger.
“Go away.”
I hear
My voice whisper.
I feel your breath linger,
Your voice, your touch, your words.

I bury my face
In the sand.
Nobody will notice my blemishes
I hope, nobody will find land
Through this impossible maze.

I sense your figure drift
Away.
But your presence, I still feel there.
What will you do when I say
That I am a liar.
That everything I preach is a myth.
You’d offer to me,
No sentiment.

But how would you act
If I told you I love you?
That you’ve always been the one
For me?
It came for me, and hit me with a smack.
Bewildering me,
Blinding me,
Hurting me,
As if you were my own personal
sun.
