A picture is taken.
Now it sits on a shelf -
Forgotten.
Abandoned.
Just like your children.
Just like their dreams;
Their hopes;
Their lives.
This picture sits on a shelf
And collects dust.
No longer looked upon
By anyone’s eyes.
Especially yours.
