Everyone the actors
They sputter silence
For, silence is safe
Pull the alarm
Run away
Drawn to no
Cannot stay
Formerly then
A hovering now
A phantom past
Wandering
Never considering how
Seized by the river’s
Forever churning luminosity
Finally
Listing, hearing, seeing
Time for thoughts
Tracing scars
Suddenly
The cold
Silly scene
Moments later
Burning
Falling
Darkness
Done
Welcomes
Once unreal
Comforting promise of change
A chance
To remember
