Far away far to long
I sigh
As single silent tears fall from my eyes
You swore to me you would never leave my side
But I guess you had to protect me by telling an awful lie
You told me you would be fine
That you’d only be gone for a short time
Told me the time would quickly past by
I’m sixteen now, you said that when I was nine
I miss you more then you know
But I’ll sit and let no emotion show
Waiting for when it’s my time to go
You told me He loved me
Tell me if he took you away, how can that be
There’s nothing for me you see
Not since, you had to leave
I’ll cry myself to sleep
Again, with silent weeps
Just wanting to see you I would take a sinful leap
Even give the devil my soul to reap
But I don’t. You wouldn’t want that, I know you thought that’s wrong
Instead I’ll stay here and wait hating that you’ll forever be far away for so long
