Dusty Pages
Bending wooden shelves,
Curving where they’re weak,
Installing more support into the wood that seems so meek.
Call me a collector,
A foolish one, at that,
For these things take up space, and roominess is where it’s at.
I may be a nerd
Pushing glasses up my nose,
But I don’t need technology, and to it I won’t transpose
Don’t need a fancy Kindle,
Won’t download an IPhone App,
Nothings feels as good as an old book upon my lap.
