A little ball of light
Sitting in the field
As happy as could be

Then the darkness comes

It is dark and it is evil
It is powerful and painful
It sucks away the life
It sucks away to good

It approaches the light
Hungry and ready to attack

The light looks up
It shrieks but cannot get away
It starts to shiver and cry

The darkness consumes it
Taking over all its ever known
Turns its thoughts to darkness
And spits the light back out

The light is now a shadow
Lurking through the day
Lurking through the night

I look in the mirror
And all I see is
A dark and twisted shadow
