Price to Pay
Why so judging, why so blatant?
Is your blood any different than mine?
Is acceptance a foreign term to you?
Human is human, we aren't so different
We all have hands,
But our palms hold individual life stories
Love is no more than a game to you
Wisdom is no more than shame to you
These boundaries you break,
Shattered hearts are the fate
Cracked glass and windows opaque
This face you see no longer
This is what lies in the broken souls
Why so judging, why so blatant?
Are the steps you take any different than mine?
Will you learn in a century,
From this road you travel
That your steps were all along mistakes?
Your life will abandon you
Stolen from time in a moments passing
How you yearn to unwind
The previous, the past
All the while you gain knowledge,
From the mistakes you make.
Knowledge, the price you pay
