Silver Light
this light i know, so clear and far.
like that of a shining star.
this night i know so quiet and still.
now its starting to sing to me.
that shining moon, a light to my heart.
shines like a silver light through that horrid darkness.
that distant waterfall so beautiful and at a hush.
now these hills are sharing the moons story.
a clear sky, so distant and beautiful.
now i want to take you there.
the wilderness around me may say complete me.
but i keep looking at that moon that tells me I'm not alone.
that round light slight and cool.
so different and constant but cant be made a fool.
the stories are ending, the song holding its last note.
and now i wonder if the night has another secret to keep.
the moon is setting, our legacy is almost through.
and now i know that this night has done more then its do.
