An Unknown Friend
In a hidden valley, far away, the sun scorched the arid, sandy ground.
A young bush daisy wilted in the desert,
Never to see the beautiful pastel colors of the break of dawn again.
A blue jay flew over the bush,
Never stopping to mourn for the life of an unknown friend.
All the desert creatures never appreciated the life of that bush daisy,
except for the bee.
He loved the flower like a good friend should.
That flower was his friend,
the love of his life,
but now all he is left with, is an empty heart.
