Standing in the ring, discus in hand. Sweat sliding down my brow. Safety net around me closing in. I wind. I throw. It hits there net. Foul. I wind up for my second throw. 69 feet, 5 1/3 inches. I walk out of there ring. I repeat another time. My third and Fourth throws reach a 60 and 64 foot reach. Placing 7the. Sweat mixes with tears so no one can tell there difference. Competition hurts. Letting your team mates down hurts. Loosing there meet by one point hurts
