Last night I had a dream
This dream of mine was like no other…..
It was full of emotions
Confusion, love, pain and suffering…. They were all there
I don’t remember much, but what I do remember…..
It’s enough to break someone’s heart
Just thinkin’ about it brings tears to my eyes
How could you do this to me???
Was it all a lie?
I thought you truly loved me……..
“ I love you now and forever”
Those are the words that you spoke to me………
So if you do love me then why?
Why did you break up with me????
“The transition would be easier”… that what you said
But did you ever stop to think
That maybe I could help make the transition easier?
Sure it would be hard at first
With you gone and me still back home waiting for you
But eventually we would get through the rough part
Guess that is out of the question now….
I just wish you would have asked me to help you……
