It grows no fur on my face
and no tail after my backbone
but I sure am unable to tell people
how I feel because I don’t

No beast can be as brutal as I
who gnaws on the flesh of someone
it loves this much when he ripped my
chest apart slowly with his lukewarm claws

With a streaming passion I tore
his muscles into bits
and chewed on the tissues
for all the hatred and affection I bore

A mouthful of love that tasted like
the mixture of nectar and revenge
and a profound scent of honeyed tears
diffused through the Garden of Eden

The buds on my tongue reminding me of
a childhood in Summer I’d die to relive
when I fell asleep on my grandma’s bed
by the breeze that combed through my hair

How cruel and sadistic God is
to sit back and have Himself entertained
while He burglarizes our homes empty
and robs us naked of hope

Stands and watches as two lovers
hurt each other’s soul
in the form of a revolver
caught in Russian roulette

All my chambers were loaded and
I thought loving him couldn’t be wrong
but he never played by the rules
Love was a losing game he said

I moved closer and pulled the trigger
But after he dropped dead I reached for my chest
It has never felt this hollow I swear
I almost forgot the part where he ate my heart
