He told me never to tell
a soul, of our intentions.
Holding secrets
Never confessing
the sins I committed.
No one’s defending
These lies, I spit
burning holes in the truth
Setting any ounce of honesty ablaze
A rage
Scorching all in its path,
leaves no trace of life.
He told me never to tell…
I let him destroy me
I now realize, that was his intention
