No One Will Ever Know
No one understands true pain,
No one will ever know,
How it feels to endure pure agony,
And all it conquest inflicted upon,
One another.
A million eyes scan the hall,
Looking for the next helpless victim,
The eyes of prey and predator lock,
The games are about to begin.
Predator makes the first move,
As the prey stands in pure fear,
shuddering and silent the prey waits,
For any chance of escape they may have.
With no way out the the predator strikes,
Striking again and again the predator leaves,
Leaving the prey motionless and desperate for life,
Gasping for air that is surrounded by darkness.
Voicees call for them but they can’t reply,
Struggling for life as they lay motionless on the ground,
“why me?” they ask themselves,
“what did I do wrong?”
Hospital beds try to comfort them,
But time will not allow it,
Silent cries from within,
Are never to be heard.
As one life is lost,
Another will move on,
And in its life,
Knowledge of life and death will be accquired.
