Lord Hades
All hail the Ghost King,
The Ruler of the Underworld.
Behold! His Helm of Darkness,
And bow to the Lord Hades.
His sceptre shows mysterious powers,
He is feared the most my mortals.
His name creates hushed cries and chaos,
As they want to meet him, never!
All souls and spirits of The Dead,
Shall be sent down to his realm.
Their deeds, shall matter most of all,
About their place down there.
Elysium, shall be gained by those,
Whose every moment was heroic.
Who sacrifice themselves for good,
Would rest in peace right here.
The Asphodel Meadows shall be gained by those,
Who lived an ordinary life.
Those ones who lived a normal life of ecstasy,
May lead their peaceful afterlife here.
And most deadly of them all,
Is Tartarus, a curse for all.
All those who let the devil in them,
Seek out to awake the Evil.
Alas! The Ghost King is seen as stern and fearsome,
He holds the pathway to Death.
"He is so merciless,"the mortals, they say,
But no,that is petty, a lie.
But Lord Hades,he is not Death himself,
He just gives the Dead a place to linger.
Not to wander, not to haunt,
And not to scare the living!
He controls the minerals of the Earth,
Without which the living resent.
He is the richest of all the Gods,
And thus,shares all his gems.
He fought against the Titans, brave,
And helped Zeus gain his crown.
He loved Persephone, a bit too much,
So he grabbed her, to never let go.
They see his fearsome, deadly side,
As he punishes the Evil.
But they never see his soft heart,
And that all he does is for good.
