I Am Different

I am different
And I cannot change
I see things differently
And I sound different
I prefer the trees
To human company
I like to be alone
And think about life
Because when I'm alone
I'm most accompanied
I like to dress different
With baggy shirts
And colorful shoes
I don't work well with others
But I'm great on my own
I don't know what to say under pressure
Or to new people
But I'm great with animals
I'm not like everyone else
I am different
And I will not change

Sometimes people are just afraid of things they don't understand and that's why everyone thinks being different is a bad thing but it's not, it's a really good thing and we need to embrace that.
