Canvas
-The white blank piece that stays in my head,
no one ever thought the loudest girl would have the whitest mind.
I try to paint and have that color but,
the voices of doubt and regret full my head to the bone.
Today, I will try
Today, I will ignore the voices
Today, I will show them that I'm free
For now and ever I will stand tall, tell my tale and demonstrate excellence.
To that white canvas, you hurt me but told me to color my own path.

My poem really captivates that bullying and saddness can really hurt someone and make them confused in doubt. However, you must rise and believe that today and forever you will stand tall and ignore the comments. As a 7th grader you face critics that think they have control and can erase your dreams and make your confidence feel like dust. I want to convey that you can't give up or let them have control in your head, you must try and achieve your dreams because everyone has a canvas that has some scares but can be reborn and full of color.
