No More
No more.
Living the rules of the extremist
They follow the laws
Of no school
The consequences are extreme
If no action is taken
Poverty rates rise dramatically
Birth mortality is astronomical
Populations decline rapidly.
No more
Outside the family
Teachers cannot teach girls
Five years ago
No woman had a degree
No more
Girls who are afraid to go outside
Wearing burkas
Eyes only
Can be seen
No more
Invest in the future
Of children who will
Follow orders
From those who would destroy them
Never listen to what women say
No more
Walking miles to schools
Frightened of retaliation
From those who are opposed
Living, hiding, fearing
No more.
