Anchoring
I wanted to be a sailor
To catch and use the breeze
  Learn tragic wrongs,
  Victory’s songs,
And all these things they’d seen
I wanted to be a sailor
  World’s boundaries washed aside
  Islands unknown
  Horizon’s glow
  And stalwart mate, the sky
I wanted to be a sailor
  But they’ve no certainties
  In hostile lands
  Lonely bones land
And who will mourn for thee?
  Two feet on the ground
  I’m turning around
  A sailor I shall
  not be.
And a sailor I shall not be.

College is looming on my horizon, and I've been thinking a lot about where I'll go career-wise. I've realized that some dreams just aren't practical.
