Heart beats with the thundering sound of a thousand horse hooves,
Hands, a sea of sweat,
Mind races like a freight train, unstoppable and fierce,
Voice quivers like an aspen leaf in the breeze,
Throat dry as the desert sand,
Stomach twisted like a pretzel,
The end, a promise of light at the end of the tunnel,
Relief like a breath of fresh air.
