Belgian Malinois


I have a Belgian Malinois named Merckx.

My mom is the reason we chose the name,

When we heard it we said,” whatever works.”
“Whatever name we’ll love him just the same.”

Although Merckx causes lots of family strife,

Like scratching up all of the Oakwood floors,

I guess that’s just Merckx’s role in my life,
Without him my life would be such a bore

He’s better than any kind of alarm,
He is constantly protecting our house,
He protects us from any type of harm,
He is not quiet like a tiny mouse.

When you’re with Merckx you can’t stay very mad,
He is the best dog that I’ve ever had.
