it painted the sky orange and blue
before my very eyes
i looked upon this beauty and thought only of
night skies
the dawn is a promise though
i wish for mornings past as
the winter of discontent
is meant to last.
I cannot stop to wonder
or to bemoan or to sigh
but the beauty of the morning
brings a tear to my eye.
Such a beauty cannot bring what will be
amazing how Nature can bring such Deceit
