This is a great book (American born Chinese by: gene luen yang) this story has three story the first story is about the monkey king. That wants to be popular but has a hard time doing that because he's knot human. The second story is about the author's life as a kid when he was growing up he was the only Chinese kid at his school Intel this kid comes and becomes his friend. The Third is about this teenager who is an ordinary teen that has problems. This book is a person vs. person also friendship. I relay enjoyed reading this book its great, a short story also. I think kid's 6th-8th grade would like this book. My opinion is they should make it a sequel.
