I wish I could write for u stranger…

Peach Crush makes me love u all,

Suitcases and sandals,

Levers and handles,

Losers and winners,

Hair-braids and blankets

Haters and lovers

Whispers and covers

Till the daylight is gone

And the Saluki rolls on.

It is like butter,

spread upon the toast of night

Long after the city is done.

The author's comments:

I wrote this for a girl I met while riding Amtrack.

"Why do you keep hiding behind your mask,
When even the scars formed by your mistakes
are you own constellations?"

This is sooooo relateable.. and I'm glad you and the girl became friends! I'm still waiting for somethng like that to happen to me.

That's so cool! I love the flow and rhythm of your poem.

"It Will Be Good." (complicated semi-spiritual emotional story.)

"Upon his bench the pieces lay
As if an artwork on display
Of gears and hands
And wire-thin bands
That glisten in dim candle play." -Janice T., Clockwork[love that poem, dont know why, im not steampunk]
