The World of a Thousand Fabrics
The world is made from a thousand fabrics-
The silken threads mingle with rugged canvas and braids into smooth strings of cotton.
Every material speaks a different language.
Every thread carries another story, a mood taken from a country thousands of miles away.
An expert tailor wraps the thread around a slender needle and pushes them together,
An array of textures and hues holding each other, with a few gaps in the stitching so that sunlight can come through.
This is the cloth of a thousand peoples, and every thread has something to say.
