Hope is a flame in the distance;
Hope is a light where it’s dark.
Hope is believing good will prevail
Even when you’ve missed the mark.
Hope will remain
When all else is lost;
Hope is the sign of day.
Hope is the candle,
Burning on,
Lighting the hidden way.
Hope never fails
Unless you give up.
Hope never leaves
Unless you lose trust.
Hope always triumphs
If you stay true.
Hope always loves
If you’ll let it change you.
Hope will remain
When all else is lost;
Hope is the sign of day.
Hope is the candle,
Burning on,
Lighting the hidden way.

Thanks for the feedback!  It's definitely a work in progress, and I agree about the rhythm/stanzas idea.  :)

I really like your poem! Hope is very special to me, and I have actually written an poem on it, too! However, I would say that some of your rhythm is a little bit off. Also it might be nice if you divided the poem into stanzas.
